Dr. Mohammad Al-Zu'bi is a Civil Engineer with expertise in structural retrofitting, sustainable construction materials, and polymer nanocomposites. Holding a PhD from Brunel University of London, he is a dedicated researcher specializing in the structural behavior and retrofitting of concrete members using Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) composites and polymer nanocomposites. His research focuses on nanotechnology-enhanced adhesives for concrete retrofitting and the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) of advanced construction materials, aiming to develop sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions by integrating cutting-edge materials and technologies. Dr. Al-Zu'bi has a strong publication record, with numerous Q1 journal papers, and actively contributes to the research community as a peer reviewer for leading journals and a Guest Editor for Special Issues. His dedication to engineering education is reflected in his extensive experience teaching various Civil Engineering (Structural and Materials) modules and laboratory courses. Additionally, he is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI), reinforcing his commitment to advancing the field.
