Mission
The College of Allied Medical Sciences at Aqaba University of Technology strives to develop and deliver medical programs that enhance the academic infrastructure and meet the needs of the community for healthcare providers. The college is committed to encouraging and supporting faculty members to excel in scientific research, utilize modern teaching techniques, and participate in global and local conferences, reflecting our commitment to excellence and innovation. Additionally, the college is keen on expanding bridges of cooperation with the local community, stemming from its belief in the importance of serving the local community and its institutions through offering training courses, scientific consultations, and organizing medical days and scientific seminars. These efforts enhance our role in fulfilling the university's mission and promoting science and knowledge as foundations for the advancement and prosperity of society.
Vision
The college employs contemporary teaching methods and a knowledge-based environment that supports creativity and research at a global level, utilizing them to serve the community. The college plans to launch a Master's program in Physical Therapy and a Master's program in Medical Imaging within the next five years, in order to enhance academic capabilities and meet the developmental needs in the healthcare field, providing the community with the necessary medical competencies. The college is working on updating the curriculum and expanding the infrastructure, such as increasing specialty hours and laboratory spaces, to meet the requirements for obtaining international accreditation. Additionally, the college intends to organize an annual scientific conference to exchange experiences and the latest techniques in physical therapy and medical imaging at the Arab and global levels in collaboration with specialized entities.
